Naw, I would say that it is trying to figure out if a sock has just not been washed or if it was part of the yearly sacrifice to the washer and dryer gods for their appeasement.

You only sacrifice yearly?! I have to make an offering every time I do laundry. I have so many singles, it looks like a dance at a nursing home.

I finally figured out how not to lose socks in the wash & it's so dang simple, I feel silly that I didn't learn it till after I turned 60: when I take the socks off, I fold them together in the ball & put them in the hamper that way.  Then both socks go into the washer & come out of the dryer.  I haven't lost a sock since I started doing it this way.

Status: offline 		I just got a job interview for a job that pays $18.36 per hour!!!!!  I'm sooooo excited!  And Daddy just gave me permission to go buy an outfit for the interview!  YAY!!!

Status: offline 		They call it Customer Relations & on the phone I was told there is some marketing involved.  I am sooooo good at dealing with customers & putting them in good moods that this will be a great job for me.  I do very well at dealing with difficult people also.  I used to work with surgeons, after all.

Status: offline 		The interview is in 4 hours, which means I need to get shopping & I want to get my nails done too.  OOOOHH!!  I just remembered that my neighbor does makeup in a mall & she could do some nice makeup on me.  I'll let everyone know how it goes after the interview.
