i hate that Pallin just called people who make $42,000 a year middle class.

OMG!!!! i seriously forgot this....Today when i was in bankrupcty court the judge asked if i had any student loans. i, of course, answered affirmitively... Yeah, imagine my overwhelming since of security when she looked at them, her jaw dropped her words went something like, "omg!! i mean, uhm..yeah, i guess you do..i hope you got a great education."

Hey at least they lowered it to 42K being Middle Class..originally it was 250K that was consider middle class. At least a few of us ( Not me) would be considered Middle Class now.

Thanks for the info hun!

I diffantly plan on buying one of those then.

I had a hand pump last time and it was a pain in the ass.

Since I will be returning to work right away I need a good pump.

hell I would love to make 42 a year...

Good gods... I remember making 38 and being happy as hell.. Now I am lucky I make 26.. *sighs*

and yes.. 42 is in middle class.. 50-75 is upper middle class.

So many of us live middle class lives with out the middle class bank.

I really hate Palin and her Witch hunting buddy or a pastor.

It comes with a pack that you can carry on your shouldar, and the extra bottles for storage at work, and this little insulated thing-y that has a blue ice in it.

My little sister had used a manuel pump with her first, but moved up to the electric pump with her second. She told me not to even THINK about a manuel.

And then of course with not being able to breastfeed, and ONLY pumping, I had to go with a good pump.

Gotta have a Medela pump - totally worth the cost! My Medela was my "breast" friend when I went back to work after Thing 1 was born, and was what helped me be able to feed Thing 2 when we had to quantify how much she was eating when she was just born.

You can give your breast pump to someone else, just need to get new "funnels" (the part that goes on your boob), bottles to pump into and new tubing, just to be safe. There should be no fluids in the tubing, as only air passed through, but you never know.

Manufacturers like to say you can't reuse them, because they want you to buy new ones. But think about this... the ones you rent from the hospital are used.

Gwyn, check with your hospital to see if they have them available for sale (could be cheaper than retail) and also with your local La Leche League (again for the price). If you have private insurance, they may cover a pump rental; based on your stated income, I'll also venture a guess that you might be under a special program, and if so, they may cover it as well. Certainly worth checking into.
