Hate #1: I hate that when I offered to do something for a friend, I had all the time in the world at hand to do it. I hate that when it came time to do it, I haven't been able to. The software I need is at work, and I haven't had any free time there. Hate #2: I hate that something the ex said to me on the phone right as I got home made me so flabbergasted that I got out of the car and locked my keys in it and had to have someone come and unlock it for me. The ex still hasn't been served with the permanent restraining order. I hate that the ex said, "maybe I can meet up with your mom tomorrow and she can serve me. By the way, does it say in the paperwork why you got a restraining order? It would probably be good for me to know that." *thunk* <-- sound of jaw hitting ground *ka-thunk* <-- sound of car door shutting with keys inside and door locked If he doesn't "know" what he did wrong, how is he ever going to learn to be able to have a civil conversation with me???? The restraining order is only for one year, then what? He goes back to harrassing me so I have to go through that again, establishing a pattern of harrassment so I can get another one?? Edited to say: No, the permanent restraining order doesn't have the "complaint" in it, the temporary order had that in it, the one that he tore up and threw at me. Cali
