i understand where You are coming from compeltly.... i used to work at an agency and was there for 8 1/2 years... It was against 'company policy' to give anyone a reference..WTF??!! i left in good standing..

Status: offline 		I've been told for years that all a former employer is allowed to give out is dates, confirmation that you worked there & would they re-hire you.  I guess a positive answer to the last one is considered a reference.  I'm not surprised, in this litigious era, that they won't give references anymore.  If it's company policy, it's not personal & has nothing to do with whether you're appreciated or not.  Quite frankly, I miss the written reference days.

Yeah!!!

And I'm expected to pick up the slack and start pushing out assays so the company doesn't get behind because they are doing a major over haul of the company. I'm just an overworked underpaid temp people!!!!!!

OK, I hate it when I realize that I will never dance as well as the kids on Dancing with the Stars.  I'm lucky that Daddy says I've got good rhythm and really wiggly hips.  (hey!  I'm talking about dancing here, you perverts!  tsk, tsk)  Heck, I'm just glad I don't dance like I'm having a seizure or that a bug has fallen down my top.
