VP...thank you for the update, he seems to be in good spirits at least from the photo, but the prayer sticks are still whirling for him. Give him our hopes and blessings.

For those who can't get company recommendations due to policy, check to see if the person is willing to give a PERSONAL recommendation. Often they are willing to do so as someone who has worked with you or gotten to know you as a person.

Christine..it's cold on the Atlantic Coast as well..meanwhile we here in Florida are enjoying a lovely balmy 77 degree day.. I am in shorts and a t-shirt having just come from the gym and people were swimming in the outside unheated pool

Oh lord ... okay maybe i dont feel so guilty about pushing him out on his own Daughter is due to deliver in January sooooooo Diapers and a hormonal perma PMS teen is about all I think I can handle

Camille I read this last night and figure you might need to read it as well, but before you read it remember that your parents are the product of their upbringing, the era they grew up in and like many of the older generations (older being at least 20 years older than ME) are scared that we are not going to be in a recession (the same one Bush denied was happening) but back in a Depression and that you will have nothing to get your though it, nor will they.

Meanwhile back at the comfort I almost promised:
