the point is, you think you hit all the big things with kids, finances, houses.

but what about christmas. he doesn't like it much, she's over the top about it. will it be an issue? what if she gains weight, will he see it as a dealbreaker? who pays the bills, who goes christmas shopping, who takes out the rubbish, does she stay home when babies come or does he expect her to go to work???

little things, but in a broader concept, sometimes these things can make or break a marriage.

ray, they've been together a year now, so they've gotten past that initial - "i see now wrong in this person" and have seen some of the warts and flaws. it'll be another year before they can afford to get married.

i just want her to be as happy as she can be. and i think the more they can work out now, the less the trauma when they're married. that's my hope, anyways.

Angel............CONGRATULATIONS on your daughter's engagement!!!!!
Tomorrow my own daughter celebrates her 4-year anniversary. Damn, has it ONLY been 4 years?????  Seems like they've been married FOREVER!! Though they have been together since high school. They actually met in daycare. I always joke that he must have liked the way she looked in her Pampers!
