Status: offline 		  That reminds me. I thought about one of my riding supplies places like Dover since I can get winter paddock boots that will withstand the snow, cold and slush and not look ridiculous. Hmmmmmmm, I wonder if there are any riding gear stores around here?

(Well, don't I feel sheepish.... Now to just find one!)

Status: offline 		  I did think about them, once. Then forgot about them till you reminded me. I'm looking to see if there's a tack store around here right now. Usually tack stores also have gear like boots. If not, I might be able to see if Dover is having a sale on winter paddock boots. Ariat makes some good ones, just not sure on the prices. I'm also not sure if they ship to Canada and what the shipping would be....

Status: offline 		Good luck on the search.  I doubt that the shipping will be that bad.  As far as cost, you have to take into consideration that if you get a GOOD pair, they will last more than one season, and so you will save money in the long term.  (It is something that the other half and I take into consideration when buying shoes)

Status: offline 		  It's a long story, Ray.... Let's just say that the USPS is the best in the world. Canada has a good one, it's just, well, Canada. Laid back. It gets there when it gets there. Could be in a few days. Could be in a few weeks. They just don't give a damn.....

*sigh*  I'm learning to live with it. And to hand deliver things locally when necessary. Or to plan on the extra mailing time just in case.

I'm ok, fighting a cold or sumpin, Lumus is at work dealing with idiots as usual. OMG is he dealing with idiots.
