Great my head's killing me, my stomach's upset & my face & eyes are red from crying so much and the icing on the cake is I get to go to class this way. Fuck, I just wanna go home.

When I was a Rookie it took 6 months for me to get cleared to ride because of my asthma. I still had to go in on my duty nights until 11pm & do the "dirty work". (Get your minds out of the gutter). Gary would be there too 'cuz that was his "on call" night w/our Canteen. My car wasn't running at that time so he'd always give me a ride home 'cuz he didn't want me walking home that late at night. One night he fell asleep on the couch at the station watching "Antz" and I didn't have the heart to wake him so I walked home. Lol, he finally woke up around 12:30ish & called me giving me hell for not waking him up/to make sure I got home ok. That was 4 years ago & to this date whenever I introduced him to new people in the Dept. I always ref. the night how he MADE me walk home 'cuz he was lazy & fell asleep :))

RIP Gary!!

I just ABSOLUTLY lurve pregnant women that give me parenting advice!

We had the other half's office potluck thingy for the students today. I got Butterhead up early, I got the dish made, and went to campus. No problem. My plan was to be heading home at 1:15. Butterhead's naptime is 1:30, which is when this thing technically ended (it is only a few minutes drive). Not wanting her to have a meltdown due to being tired, at the appropriate time, I started getting Butterhead ready to leave.

A gal there, about 7 months preggers, told me that "HER child would not be dictating HER scheduale. HER child was going to have to be more adaptable than mine."

*snort*

I told her to let me know how that worked out for her.

Crazy me, I LIKE the fact that people comment on that she is just so happy. She was having a great time in the office and running around the halls giggling, eating Doritos, seeing daddy. But by 1:15 she was looking tired, but still happy.
