Okay, I do not think that I can ever go back to that grocery store again.

They had all these samples out. . .

I did not see any cookies. . .

So I asked at the bakery, "Do you have cookies for children?"

I get a look of, "You are a cheap-assed bitch that is not willing to buy your child cookies."

Then she went and opened a package.

Butterhead was not crying. Was not demanding anything. She was sitting happily in the cart.

If I had known that she was going to go find and open a package of cookies, I would have just bought some. Honestly, my child DOES get cookies.

And other treats.

And what is worse. . .

About 10 minutes later one of the store managers came up to me and remarked on the fact that Butterhead had not gobbled her cookie.

Instead she was just happily munching.

*note to add here. . . ALL of the other stores that I have shopped at, DO have cookies for children at their bakeries*

Ok I admit that I am a moocher. I have been know to borrow kids to take to stores that give out a lot of free food samples. When my daughter worked here with me we used to go to lunch at the corner grocery store and pig out on the samples.

What a dick.

I don't even have um's and I always see the cookie thing at every grocery store I go to. I would ask every single time from now on.

VP. . . it was just the bakery grocery store.

And I think that the fact that she was NOT snarfing it, means she DOES get cookies. Not only free ones.

I would like to think that my kiddo is NOT deprived.

OHHHH-MY-GAWWWWWWWD Aylee....

I'm reading along through the threads ... just sort of lurk'n along as usual,
And I Come To THIS Bit regarding Your trip to the Grocery Store-Butterhead-Cookies and the people working at the store ( working was a word I didn't want to use because it Doesn't FIT ... but I'm So Angry I can't think straight )
I've NEVER Been to a Grocery Store that didn't GLADLY Offer A Cookie to Children!!
( even smiling BIG kids get a cookie if they ask ... lol .. I don't because I figure they're for the little people, like Butterhead )
Cookies are Always handed out Gladly and With A Smile!!!
....*muttering* ...
You're only a few hours away from me Aylee .. the whole thing makes me want to jump in my car .. come over and give THOSE People a well deserved piece of my Anger and a lecture about Customer Service Skills and what happens to Your business/jobs/etc ... when Customer Service Skills are Non Existant!!!!!
