Status: offline 		ahaha - you're probably right! There will probably be, in about a week, another post from me going "oooowww!!!! Why did I do that?!" Ah well. Besides, he said (since it's clear lexan) that it looks like a light saber...how can I not indulge that!

Status: offline 		squeezes out a I love it when......I run into Norma one of the resident seniors. Her and the super have been taking care of each other since around the 50's. Just ran into her in the hall as she was going to take a peek at the icky weather.

I had gone up to the supers apt to check and see if a package had been dropped off to him instead of to my apt.  Both were there talking about the possibilty of Norma going to a nursing home as the super is pretty ancient too and its gettting hard to take care of her. I told them that at any time if she or he needed help to just ring the door bell and I would be happy to help out.  I adore seniors

I love it when I am an achy, contractioning, emotional wreck my honey helps me, and comforts me. ( And makes me tea!)

I love it when we find a way to pay the bills one more month.

I love that we are going to see AC/DC in concert tonight. Speaking of which, I had better get going!

I love that I have such wonderful friends here on CM. Even if they are all "fake".

I love that 2009 may actually be an even better year than 2008, and that one was incredible!

i love our elders also.
i have learned so much from caring for them all these years. i have learned how to age gracefully (i think) from both the ones who are graceful and also those who make everyone around them miserable. i want to be a pleasant, funny old woman full of wisdom when i get there....with dyed hair, nail polish and lipstick! oh yeah and the jewlery.
