Hey, I got the first two books in that series.  I was at the library which is across the street from the place where I went for a quilting exhibit.  Oh  I can't wait!  I love that I'm so intrigued by this folk art and want to be a part of it.  It's so beautiful!

lol, have a look at some of the mariners compass quilts and imagine them in bright sunny yellow and green as sunflowers.

only wait a year or 10 before you try one THAT complicated, lol!!

i'll send you a cmail with the bestest quilting block patterns on it. i've got a pic or two of my quilts in there....

Status: offline 		OK, the tables are laid out with tablecloths that look like football fields.  They are green with stripes across and goal posts at each end.  As everyone brings in their snacks we'll put them here on the extra long table.  The big screen is over there.  All the tables and chairs are gathered for your viewing pleasure.

Status: offline 		Now look at all the stuff i need to clean up.  nekkie cleaning slave drags the big trash can over to the big table....gathers up the corners of the tablecloth and pulls it right into the trash can.  There! all i have to do now is sweep and mop.
