Meh, I'm trying to recover from the strep, I just wish the damned throat would stop hurting. Even with Nyquil and ibuprofen it's still killing me. Makes it impossible to eat or drink since I can't swallow. Which is funny because the doctor and the pharmacist keep telling me to push fluids.

Ya, right....

Lumus is doing better and of course, Mr. Smarties never got the crud. We're pretty sure we were exposed to it from his school since they've had an outbreak there along with scarlet fever but of course being young, energetic and resilient, he never got a even a sore throat.

How you holding up, Greedy? Any good news yet from the consulate?

Nothing new yet, Rain...Pirate is trying to get his stuff sorted out, I'm in the process of getting my legal documents (driving license, social security card, etc) changed over to my new name.

Actually, it was really embarrassing when we got the phone bill and it was in our married name. I got the giggles and blushed.

LOL I ordered certified copies of the marriage certificate... Threw the envelope away... until I realized HEY!! Thats the first piece of mail with the new name!! LOL So I grabbed it back out of the trash..LOL
