Status: offline 		Pretty good.  We took Butterhead to the lake today for a cookout.  She wore herself RAGGED!  LOL  You should have seen her walking down the campground road.  Her out in front, three adults in the back behind her, and she was strutting her stuff, all brave and proud of herself.

It's been a quiet night tonight.  Some righteous thunderstorms blew by south of here, complete with tornado warnings.  We just got some rain.

It's really weird, but the only wicked storms I've seen this season were when I was in Fort Worth!

Status: offline 		Angel, I bought several nature cd's....my favorite is the thunderstorms WITHOUT the music.  Believe it or not, they are hard to find sometimes.  One that I had and seemed to have misplaced had crickets on it with the storm......I out it in my cd player and hit repeat......it's great for sleeping!

You're on your own for the fireflies......but they are so cool when they start to rise up out of the grass at night, aren't they?

Status: offline 		dunno. haven't seen them in years - since i was last in the states. i'm not even sure australia HAS fireflies!

i love thunderstorms, i find them exhilerating and therapeutic. i used to have a nature's sound - ocean waves and storms i think. but it got lost in one of my many moves.

heh, at the moment, i know the first track of one of my norah jones cd's because i only ever hear that one before i'm asleep.

Status: offline 		Man...that must be nice...I'm usually up to hear the thing play at least 4 times......I have to find out what's up with this stoopid insomnia..it's never been this bad!  {sigh} 

I'll bet you get some magnificent thunderstorms there....we do here in AZ, but they are so few and far between, a CD is the only way I'll get to hear one!

Status: offline 		used to get some incredible thunderstorms in sydney. these days, not so much. the drought has really affected the places i've lived. so little rain, and often not much storm to accompany it.

my problems not too little sleep but too much. lots of foods act like drugs to my system and knock me right out. great if you're insomniac, not so great if you're in a meeting and your boss sees you and looks at you and you hear your name. she suggested we take a break at that point. i ran and got an espresso

Went to see "UP" yesterday...sooo cute....went out to eat and then to the park...we were discussing how easily certain people in the car make friends at the park...when i hear this mumbled conversation next to me....

"Yeah, im good at making friends. Only have two right now...(has only gone to this park twice)...But today, im going to pick up a third"

*pause*...then i hear....

"Muahahaaaaa!"

After the rest of the car stopped laughing, i leaned over to the little fiend and mentioned that he may want to work on the placement of the ominous laughter in the future....

No, as we have not seen any tadpoles yet.  But if she does see some in some water, I am betting that she will be in their trying to get them.  The girl loves water.  Now. . . how she deals with the "big pool" will be another matter all togeather.
