Status: offline 		Wheeeeee!  We have now moved from a Heat Advisory to an Excessive Heat Warning!  Fun fun fun!

Luckily we have Butterhead's new wading pool filled, and I tarped it last night to keep bugs out.  I also put it close enough to the hose to be able to refill it.  She spent about 20 minutes last night climbing in and out of it and sitting in it IN HER CLOTHES!  That diaper must have weighed five punds last night when she was all done.  Yes we have the little swimmer pant things, but she saw it last night and just HAD to check it out.  Ah well, the clothes are washable! 

Angel, the dress-up play clothes went over quite well!  My mother sent her a couple new outfits and a couple new sets of jammies, and my dad found her a picnic basket, that is CUTE as can be.  (My mother was quite impressed.)  So she had a great time opening pressents throughout the day.  She did not appriciate her ice-cream cake, not a really big surprise as she is not much of a sweets eater except for occassionally cookies and chocolate anytime.

Let the dog out and when he came back, he was covered in mud. First bath at 8:00AM is a record for him. I fully expect he'll have been washed three times today before we're done. I think he's a teenage boy inside, girls don't roll in the mud, boys do. Besides he has the appetite of one.

I actually wore a long-sleeved tee shirt so the area between the end of the sleeve and my gloves is what got it the worst. 
Tis already browning up though...

i could have made it easy and just said "the bottom of a tomato" but considering that it was CD's head we were talking about, rump seemed more fitting.
