too funny: heavily pregnant friend. you mothers out there know how sometimes you can get really obsessed about birthing things just before the bun pops....

she decided she wanted to make sure her bikini line was all nice and tidy. so she carefully got out all the required tools. and then got nekkie. sat on the edge of the bath. looked down. couldn't see past her belly. realised that waxing was NOT in the works.

the things we worry about. i told her by the time she's told to push she'll REALLY not worry about her bikini line!

Morning, Aylee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm getting ready to get dressed and check out the local farmers market downtown and maybe pick a few things up. It's one of the oldest farmers markets around, it's been going strong for 160 years.... Then I have a crapload of dishes to do (I can't decided whether to do the dishes first THEN go or go then do the dishes - what do you think?) and floors to vacuum. With Mr. Smarties gone I think I'll make a list of things to do around here that I never seemed to get to with him here......

I had other priorities with him here, like namely him.

Oh ya, if yer still here, morning, holly.

Well, it being a Saturday, I am going to be going to the Farmer's Market as well.

MY suggestion, for what it is worth, is to do up the dishes first. That way you will have counter space for putting your loot on and space in the sink for what ever needs washed. We do not have a dishwasher. . . so when it is a lot of dishes. . . I do up that whcih covers the drain areas. That way they can dry while you are at the market.

After the Farmer's Market today, I need to get the house straightened up and then go to KFC for some chicken (It is a game day, and I am planing cold fried chicken) and if I can find a recipie for Strawberry Daquaries, I need to pick up those ingredients. I know Strawberries and clear rum (silver?)

I hope you have a great time at your market and get to make something fun with the loot you bring home!

Talking with Steel the other night and there were several times he said something. . . I started to give the answer and then I stopped. . . "Was that actually a question, or are you being funny?" Hey rain,
I'm with Aylee, but also... how about having Mr. Smarties help you next time? There is a lot of fun in getting all wet and playing with suds and stuff like that. Dancing while you are vacuuming, telling stories while you dust. Walking around with unnerpants on your head while you do laundry (best to do that with clean unnerpants if you know what I mean). *hmmmm... come to think up it... that sounds like fun to me too!

what i do is buy the pre-made liquid already made stuff, the clear rum, and fresh strawberries. All you have to do is add ice, berries, the mix and the rum in a blender. THey are SOOO good!!

I use Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum because I love the little extra num-nums it gives the drink. Goes wonderful with the fruit.

And Aylee, I was thinking of doing the dishes first as well, not so much for the room (simply put, we don't have it in this small place!) but that way they are done and out of the way so I can pass out after getting back and putting things up. I'm walking too, for the exercise, but it's more than a few blocks, it's about a mile from here. So I have a good, healthy walk in front of me. Oh, and I have to go to the store, Lumus needs shampoo and I need body wash. So it's out and about I'll be in a bit.
