Well, I see things are rolling along nicely here........morning all.......and Rain, just to let you know...I am crawling back into bed! I should do laundry and stuff, but that can wait a few hours.......I need sleep......my insomnia is being especially brutal this week......trying not to think about the job in FL much, but pfffttt...that ain't working.......if they cut any more of our pay, I won't be able to afford keeping the job I have here in AZ.! I've thought about quitting just to get to the big money I have, then getting the job back...the only problem there is I'm not sure I'd be allowed to be rehired......this SUCKS!!!!!! But hey, I'll land on my feet, I always do.......I think I'm part kitteh that way!

So do you have any estimate on the job in FL or just waiting, Soul? Plus, have you tried some chamomile tea to help with the sleep? Not necessarily hot since you live in Hell, errrrrrr, Phoenix but at least chilled?

meh., Holly, I'll be fine......worse comes to worse, if I lose the job here and FL falls thru, I'll go home and mooch off my parents til I get set up there.....or I'll pick another place to move to, and look for work there.....like I said, I always seem to end up on my feet!

It's just one of the pratfalls of having a job with the state...or city...or county....everything relies on the budget health!

Or federal government.... best job I ever had and loved to pieces was at NASA but thanks to good ol' Bush Sr and all his budget cuts, that went the way of the doo-doo.....

(My sympathies, Soul... however, if you do come to the parental unit's place, you do realize how close that is to here for a visit, eh? Sans accident?!?)

nah, right now I'm just waiting....depending on the day you ask, I either feel really good about my prospects, or not.....they did everything there that needed to be done and papers filled out, now it's just a matter of them checking all my references...and therein lies the sleepless nights......my boss hasn't received anything yet for references. I tell myself that they did have other interviews, I'm not sure if I was the last one, but mine took most of the day what with all the running and stuff, and that they also inteviewed folks on the 22nd.....

The one supervisor said they'd be looking ot hire around the end of the month of July, first part of August, so it's early yet...but DAYUM!!!!! I wish I felt more sure about it!
