Status: offline 		I hate it when a favorite restaurant closes. There was a great one here that had inexpensive, yummy food and was never horribly busy (guess that's why it closed) and I was devastated when it closed.

Status: offline 		There used to be a vegetarian restaurant that I adored. I wasn't even really vegan, I just dug the food, the atmosphere, it was a place you could go to and get lost in a good debate or conversation with the customers and the owner. For whatever reason, I stopped frequenting it as much and learned a month too late that it had closed. Come to think of it, that's how all my favorite joints go down, unceremoniously without me. At least you could take solace that you got to order one last item.

Status: offline 		I think it is just that there are so many mediocre restaurants that seem to never go out of business. Yet, the ones you really love can't seem to hang on.

On that same topic, I absolutely hate it when a product I love disappears too. The grocery store used to carry these scrumptious coconut chocolate chip cookies, and they just suddenly stopped. They were a store brand too, so no getting them anywhere else.
