No, we are not cutting back for Christmas.  However, the only thing that gets put on a credit card for Christmas is the rental car (because you have to, then we pay with the checking account.)  We plan for Christmas throughout the year and set money aside, that way we are not putting Christmas on credit. 

I am really big on budgeting, and so like everything else in the house, holidays are put on a budget as well.

I don't know how Master and Mistress do their stuff, but I have always bought holiday stuff by September during all the sales - I mean you buy for the same people pretty much every year after all!  I'm actually "passing things on" for the holidays.  I have a lot o stuff I don't need, so I'm passing on to people the things they've admired of mine that I'm done with - some furniture, fancy clothes, etc.  I have plenty of stuff... and I have a lot less than most folks!  I've started also giving people experiences as gifts rather than things - massages, dinners out, theater tix, etc.  It makes life much easier... and most everyone gets a book from me. 

*puts up some stockings on the hearth. 

There you go folks, lets fill the stockings with a little bit of love for everybody.  *puts in a moon shaped pendant in everybody's stalking... ooops stocking.

I'm putting out some hot apple cider here too.  Mr. B good for you - keep you warm and has lots of good vitamins. 

And how bout them Steelers!

Hello sunshine,WE put up stocking for everyone including the 4 legged inside babys, had some apple juice this morning,I have the punies,my ol' back and hip giving me fits today...So my baby is spoiling me ..Again... smiles...How about those ears smile...The steelers and redskins are my teams...
