ORIGINAL: BeingChewsie Hi Stephan, If they can refuse and have that refusal carry the day it is because the men they are with allow it. The reason why many goreans slaves and many other slaves can't is because that shit would never fly. It would never carry the day. You learn fast as property, that obedience is the best option. Life sucks pretty hard when you are disobedient. It has nothing to do with the type of slavery, gorean or any other letter combinations but with the men who are the owners. Many men don't have the guts to make and keep a woman as a slave, many are far to fearful of the legalities to even approach a condition that would pass a sniff test of slavery, many are looking for voluntary submissives who remain volunteers and stay and comply by choice not because they are held in a condition that removes their option to do otherwise. In fact most would find holding a woman without concern for her ongoing consent(slavery), unethical. It shouldn't be surprising that the females feel they can and often do refuse to comply, they get away with it. Many men don't want to be owners, they want to be receivers of voluntary servitude, which is fine, but don't confuse it with the condition of slavery. Greetings Sue; sabba read this many times, and this is one of the best things she has read here in a while. That's exactly it. Obedience is most definitely the best option...as you have said before, there is a price to pay for every decision, and it's a matter of what one can afford. For a girl to be held in slavery, Gorean or not, the option of her leaving when she is unhappy just doesn't exist. When a girl can leave, and does, disregarding her Master's orders, she ceases to exist as a slave. she may be the best submissive in the world, and have very valid reasons for thinking she needs to leave. But the fact is, when a girl is really and truly held in slavery, she isn't able to. At some point, if she ever becomes able to leave, she will realize that she has already paid the price....it has cost her slavery. And apparently, freedom had become affordable. welll wishes, sabba{CB}
