Status: offline 		Greetings, I have many gor friends in chat both Male and female.I have enjoyed to watch and listen to chats and serves in rooms! Many misunderstand Gor as well many can misunderstand BDSM! Isn't the whole idea of the worldwide web to bring people together? To learn? To explore? To grow and understand?

I seek to explore more and would enjoy any that wish to without patronising or trying to be heavy handed show Me  more! I can be found on here and also on pal talk

Ok, I will take the first thoughts on this matter, because it does sound a bit out there in right field.

You have many friends in the chat rooms, ok.  Do you not trust them in what they say, and you come onto the boards and ask for someone to guide you and help you in your direction?  You could not ask the friends in the chat rooms?  Have you read any of the books ?  Have you decided which way you wish to proceed throught Gor? 

I have read your profile.  On your profile and in your journals, you seem in a state of confusion of your sexuality.  You say you are 89% Domme, and then you also write that you will not bow down to any Master or Sir or Dom because of the title.  Which way are you going to go along the road of Gor, as a FW or slave?

You should start with the female books, kajira of gor, dancer of gor and since I just woke up and have not had but a swallow of coffee, cannot remember the others. Then start at book 1 and read. You can also go back through this archive and read. Another good online source is called the Gorean Voice, do a search on it.

Gor is harsh, so if someone is too "mean" or heavy handed with you, and it runs you off, then you were not meant to be a part of Gor.

I know it is early for you.

Also the books of   Slave Girl of Gor,  Hunters of Gor....about the Panther girls and some of how men slaves have their heads shaved and left on the beach...., Fighting Slave of Gor....even though it is more male orientated it does bring out the concept of male slavery..,I think that is about the female side of the books that I know.

I find your journal posts and profile somewhat contradictary. For example you are interested in being part of a poly family but no married men wanted. That you have come to the Gorean boards also says something about you and what you really want. As it has already been pointed out Gor is harsh and Gorean men don't believe in switches. That leaves only 2 choices, princess, be a slave or see if you can be pleasing enough to attract a Gorean man to be his free companion. I know that Gorean men don't care for bratty women or bratty slaves. However our free companions and our slaves are anything but doormats. They are the embodiment of femeninity, grace and intelligence. you are welcome to join us here but put away your attitude and do your homework (reading) and make sure your questions are concise and not something that's been driven over by teams of tharlian many times.

This one is quite new to the forums under Gor, but has been learning online for several months. girl can tell you princess that her Master always makes her start at the beginning.  No matter what, a slave can learn much from a Master and other slaves, but she must first start at home.  Seeking out and learning by ones own drive is part of what being a slave is about.  If one can not manage themselves, how can they ever be managed by another?  one must be of sound mind and heart to follow someone into something that can be harsh at times, but wonderful at the same time. 

Hopefully, that doesn't sound like a ramble to anyone.

First of all I Have no attitude of which Quote in My journals and profile...My choice re no Married men for I grew tired of the men here disguised as free and really only wished to add a new spice to Thier tired dull and routine of marital bedtime!!!! Re Poly even there its free choice if Dom/Domme are single..... To many here will then read and its your preception of My words that seem to judge Me before One even knows Me or has even tried to!!!

I have actually many friends yes in Gor and they take Me for a who I am respectful and will watch and also chat with friends without any malice or a derogotary do your homework!!! The wolrd of BDSM and also Gor will never agree with bickering or closed  thoughts to a new person who chose to start a thread for insight NOt judgement!!!

My sexuality isn't being discussed here or have I asked for comments or guesswork here!!!!

I actually have read many times the boards and posts and yes from Yourself too.....I have My own thoughts feeling re these but chose not to start a reply and provoke or lean towards a argument re words!!!

What happened to the world when someone came in to ask to start a conversation and feel that all You can afford is a belittling through written words!!!!

I do listen to friends thank you re gor books etc and had a rather nice email re offering books etc in wordform to look at etc!!!

I also had a few emails and I answered with Respect and Integrity as Stephen could advise I had!!!!

I will seek more insights without a thirst for knowledge and looking beyond Our only barriers how are any of us to learn???

this is not meant to be judging but it may come across as such... Most poly relationships will either A) have a married couple or B) you will be second or whatever number on the Masters chain.

i agree that by reading the books and writing down questions then going through the search function at the top right of the page will help somewhat, but until you have read them there is not much you can learn other than by asking questions.

before asking questions i suggest using the search function to see if your query has been talked about already and if not then posting it in a manner that is both pleasing and not confusing.

if what you are asking has been asked but you would like fresh answers bring the old posts to life, most here will not mind answering a question as long as it is posted clearly, precisely and is pleasing.

There is a really large difference between being Gorean and female, and being female outside the world of Gor. I know that text and type and such make it difficult at best for us to all communicate, but I would like to comment on what I have seen in your text. Your statements of eagerness with all the "!!!" after the sentences come across as less than serious. What you will find here is a group of people who are very much more than serious about a lifestyle. You put yourself out here, on display, the moment you made your initial post. As soon as you did that, it was like stepping up to the slaver's table in the courtyard of the Currulean. Can you not feel the eyes of men and free women, measuring your words as if they could measure your body and stature, measuring your attitude as if they could feel it, touch it, and know you? Yes, that's how intense it is. Yes, that's how seriously it is taken. I would suggest that you realize that your shock and surprise at some of your initial replies seems a bit foreign. This board is open, and sometimes welcoming. It does seem that the females of Gor are more likely to be welcomed if they come with some sense of humility, some sense of openness, a ready awareness that they do not know the answers, and will be willing to be molded by the free who pause to speak with them or to them depending on what those men decide you are. A free man with speak with a free woman and speak to a slave. Even if you do not yet know what you are, men will be ascertaining this from the very first word ever typed in your journal, to the last word printed on the website.

Yeah there are some being passed around the internet in .doc format, and not even security blocked to prevent change. Some of the passages are just plain wrong, not to mention it is a violation of copyright. I have these as well, sent to me in the beginning of my exploration online, and initially used them to research quotes from books I had already purchased. I felt it would be too much like thievery to read the ones that I had not purchased yet, may be a justification, but it held to my code at the time. That is when I found out they were inaccurate. I think I still have them somewhere on a flash drive, and when I run across them again, I will delete them, because they are inaccurate. I think I now own the entire series, and as far as I know, if I rewrite the entire things, for my own personal use, it is not a copyright infringement. I will check with Simon, to make sure though.

Before anyone tries to mail me, and send them to them, 1) I am not sure if I still have the files 2) If I did I would not continue the string of illegal and inaccurate writings 3) My code has changed since then, and I consider anyone offering them, to be a thief.

Simon is like a bloodhound sniffing them out, but the problem will still be there as one individual passes them to another. This is where my original thinking was screwed up. I justified by saying "well I will only read those I buy" or "I am going to buy them all eventually anyway." Both were a justification to try and get around my code, but apply that same thing to my ethics, I had a problem, and then when applied to my morals, a big problem, so I adjusted my code.

This will be the last time I will use any more of my time trying to explain the realities of Gor and how it contradicts things you wrote in your profile. In my post I welcomed you but advised you to leave the bratty you at the door, cuz it's not tolerated by Goreans. I also advised you to pick being a slave or be pleasing enough to attract a Gorean man as a Free Companion as there are no switches in a Gorean world. And what do I get for my time and effort? I get attitude from a spoiled "princess" who  can't see help when it's in front of her. Hell girl you didn't even bother to ask a question so all we can respond to is what's in your profile and post and mirror it back to you. If you don't like what you see in your reflection take some advice and do something about it.
