Greetings karynn, Thank you for your reply and your compliment. The girl is doing exactly what you propose she is doing: quote:
ORIGINAL: Karynn It sounds like you intend to write a paper aka a thesis with points on Gor taken from the books but relating directly to application in life offline. In answer to your questions... the girl is writing this paper solely for her own uses, but perhaps also to share with those who also seek the answers she has sought for the last year or more. The girl will only include points from the books, directly and quotes from the books... exactly as the author has stated them with reference to book and page. The girl does not necessarily seek more information, but her question is specifically, would such a thesis, with references and quotes be of value to anyone but herself? Yes, the girl has read some but not all of the recent posts on the board, she has searched certain things, in interest of topic only. She does not intend to quote anyone here, perhaps she will use some of the ideas from previous posts to expand on points the books bring out, paraphrasing in her own words without any plagerizing. The duties of the editor will be for grammer and readability, sentance structure, spelling, etc. The editor may make suggestions on how better to word something, and perhaps tips on what to expand on, etc. So far, the thesis is with extensive quotes going on 30 pages and the girl is only on book five in her gleaning. So, how many quotes is too many, may also be a question for the editor to answer, once the girl has found someone willing to take on that tedious task. Thanks again, {kateryn}SME
