Sexually, it makes much more sense for one woman to have a harem of many men since women are usually multiorgasmic and men have to wait awhile (sometimes a LONG while) before having intercourse again.

I think it is unrealistic to think that one person could saisfy all of another's needs, desires, fetishes, etc., so a harem of several slaves of various sexual orientations makes perfect sense

Hmmmm.... well, THIS woman only want ONE man in her life. I concur with MistressPav.... Dealing with one man is enough for me. <grin>

I also seek someone who can fulfill all my needs... but, the non-sexual ones more than anything. But then, I don't think of the lifestyle I lead as about sex... sex is just a wonderful fringe benefit if the relationship is serious.

I guess it's what makes the world go around... <smile>

I would be thrilled to find just ONE slave who meets my criteria. So many times I have wished I was bi... lol

It depends on how one views the role of the harem.

Traditionally harems simply isolate women from the world for the exclusive use of one man. They were an economic drain outside of the fact that most members represented political ties to other nobles around the world. Few members of a harem would be out right slaves, most would be concubines or wives, rank more dependent on the position of her father and family and her number/gender of children than simply the lord's whim.

But there is no reason that we as a community couldn't use the term differently -- we do it all the time after all changing terms that denote mental illness or criminal or no longer socially acceptable into erotic ones.

So for me, when I personally use "harem" I simply mean having more than one slave at a time who exclusively serves me and no other dominant or top except as casual fun upon my permission or order. In this case, everyone must contribute to the household in some concrete fashion and not merely practicing dance or gossiping with other harem members or plotting ways to undermine another member's position.

I would LOVE to have a harem. BUT...there would have to be some modifications to the original terms as Tammy and others have stated.

1) They boys would all have to be in chastity, unless I released them.
2) they would all have to work and maintain their own living expenses.
3) They would all have to get along.
4) they would all have to live in their own house. As I too have children and DCFS and the ex would frown profusely over this.

I think it could be done, and I know I for one would love to walk into a room and have 5 or 6 boys waiting to do any thing and everything for Me.

But as MystressDream has said, and makes a valid point in saying, this life style is NOT all about sex. Its about the mental control, its also about the bonds and friendship that come with the sub/slave. There has to be more than physical attraction.

Ah, the more I think about it.......I have to admit, it MIGHT be fun, but there would have to be rules and regulations in place to ensure my sanity.

Yes, I suppose if you modify the "harem" concept so that the men involved are able to leave the house and work to support themselves and me.

It takes money to house so many boys and provide them with all it takes to keep them healthy and happy, much less to maintain their skills and training. Gym fees and gear, much less room and board, for a harm of submissive warriors = financial ruin!

But a supa-sexy idea nonetheless. I'd make an excellent feudal chieftainess.

A harem No, but a very poly household of sub and slaves? Oh yes that is My goal. I have been fortunate in those of whom I chose to serve understood right up front...I will have My desires Met.
