GoddessMine -> When did you first discover BDSM? (9/28/2007 8:01:33 PM)

Not sure if this topic has been covered already - if it has, My apologies.

So when did everyone here literally and officially discover BDSM?

As I referred to in an earlier post, it began with My dad's stash of '60s Nazi BDSM paperbacks when I was seven.
Then it really got down to business when My best friend Jean and I popped in a tape and watched a woman get flogged. Poor Jean started rubbing her secret lady parts despite My passionate pleas for her to stop as doing so would "get her AIDs".

Precious, no?

Love,
GM

About a year ago, attempting to research some of the oddities in a slave's behavior.

It's good to know that there are other M/s relationships out there, though I'm still at a loss to empathize with the sadomasochistic aspects as well as some of things I see as sexual obsessions.  Still, not a criticism; just neat to see this type of community.

I read a book in high school called "Good Bye, Janet".  I cannot locate it.
It was hot.   She was a cocky woman who got spanked. She turned out to be a Domme.
They did not know what to call it back then.
I kept searhing for answers, but it wasn't until the internet opened up that I located it.
When I bought my computer, I looked in the search engine under acult spanking and found over 30,000 sites.  I think I went through all of them. lol
Next thing I know I am talking to people in England, Florida, Canada, etc.
That is how I got to where I am now.

Regards, MissSCD

As a quote from South Park goes: "There's a time and place for everything and it's called college."

College is when I first heard the terms BDSM and S&M. Before then, I've always had interest in rope, cuffs, pain, knives, and fire. But. I never knew there was a catagory or definition for these interest untill I started dating and fooling around in college.

When men began begging to be my slaves, I did a retrospective of my relationships, and I googled Dominant/submissive relationships (about 5years ago now).    M

Officially?  about 12 years or so ago.

In fact, somewhere between 10 and 12, I just didn't know there was a name for it as such.
