A member as us to look at a few pictures and asks if they are Gorean positions. And there are those that are more worried about what they are wearing or the site they come from than to the question asked! Are they Gorean positions? I would say they are, in that female slaves are placed in any position males find pleasing to place them in. There are a number of positions that are more basic and functional, and each slave will position themselves as quickly and pleasingly as they can when so commaned to do so. No two girls will ever look precisely the same, yet the overall position will be recognized for what it is. One poster asked if any of us could find a movie that showed Gor as we might envision from the books. Well as we know the two movies made fell far short. But that does not mean we cannot catch chance nuisances in other movies, and TV and other books. I offer this seeming innocent tidbit from a M.A.S.H. episode. M.A.S.H In this episode 'Private Finance' November 5, 1979 Written by Dennis Koenig Directed by Charles S. Dubin Guest Stars: Shizuko Hoshi, Denice Kumagi, Mark Kologi, Joey Pento, Philip Simma, Art Evans A South Korean Woman misinterprets Klinger's motives when he tries to aid her daughter financially. Meanwhile, Hawkeye wrestles with his conscience over a promise made to a dying soldier. In one scene Potter, and Margaret goes to the old woman’s hut to talk to her. I could not help but notice that Potter sat cross-legged, while Margaret knelt just as described a free woman should in any Gorean description of free women. Only someone who had read of Gor would have picked up on it. It was just a bit odd to see such a scene played out, as it seemed so casually done. But it in its way reinforced the fact to me that you can find similarities to what you read in those books (John Norman’s works) and TV, Movies, and even other books, if you just open yourself up to see them. Just my humble observation Grey Dragon
