Greetings girls:

Thanksgiving is a time for being thankful for what we have and being with family. The following song by Toby Keith is something that every time i hear it, makes me stop and be more thankful for what i have because of the Men and Women that have fought to give us what we now have.

the things i am thankful for are: Master, the freedom we have, family, friends, my job, a place to sleep, food, clothing, money to pay my bills and get medication when i need it, good jokes, the ability to be myself, my sight, hearing and voice and so much more.

i too love this song by Toby Keith.
 
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because it is one of gratitude. i am thankful for too many things to mention here but i am humbled to have such a beautiful life~

i am thankful for Master, family, the friends i have that are closer than family, my job and the benifits i get there, and the health of myself and my moved ones.

i apologize to those now serving their country as i did not mention you last night which was an oversight on my part, and it was not til i had gone to bed that i realized i had not mentioned those who are now serving.

my thanks goes out to the Men and Women who are now serving their country to protect their homes, their loved ones and their fellow country men and women, the ums they have and their friends.

I am thankful for all the people in my life. I am also thankful that I am alive and here to enjoy life with all those that I love. (not so long ago I wasn't sure that I would be here...but I beat my cancer)

Status: offline 		My thanks to those who cmailed asking how I'm doing.  It was a difficult day, with more difficult days to come, but I'm doing pretty well, all things considered.
 
Your care and concern is touching, humbling, and sincerely appreciated.
 
May each of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, filled the loved ones and things dearest to you.  Those of you who must be apart from your special ones during this holiday season are in my warmest thoughts and prayers, as are your loved ones.
 
This Thanksgiving, those here who've challenged my mind, taught me much, and brightened my days will be named among the blessings I'm grateful for.

Greetings to the living Goreans and the visitors to our board. May you all have a wonderful holiday weekend. As for what I'm thankful for personally; being a cancer survivor thrice; having a exemplary kajira in my home; that the remodeling is within a day of completion and that I've been able to add a bathroom, sauna, spa and upgraded my home theater and made good friend from the contractor; that I was able to get my slave the convertible of her dreams and most importantly that each of my children are happy and healthy along with the grandchildren that are here now and coming soon.

Status: offline 		Here I sit, taking a brief pause from all the kitchen activity to think about the origins of this day, what it means to me, and do one of my periodic state-of-my-life assessments.
 
This year there will only be four at our table, which is unusual.  Then again, it has been a somewhat more unusual year than most, in a life that has had enough twists, turns and challenges that I've often longed to sample boredom.  Just once.  Just to see what it is like.  I probably wouldn't know boredom if it bit me on a tender spot.
 
There are things that set this year apart which will also insure that the coming year is one of the more challenging, difficult, and trying.  And yet, in the midst of this, I remain one of the most blessed individuals I've ever known.  I don't do New Year's Resolutions.  Every now and then, however, I set myself a task or goal.  Today I've begun writing a list of short statements regarding my blessings, and set myself the task of reading it twice daily for at least the next 12 months.  If I can manage to wake up every morning with an attitude of gratitude, and fall asleep each night with a thankful heart, then perhaps all that must be dealt with inbetween will be a bit more managable, a little less heavy, and somewhat less daunting.
 
It is quiet, very quiet, right now.  Again, unusual.  The dogs are asleep.  The unmentionables are outside, soaking up sunshine and actually being nice to each other...THAT will come to a halt abut the time they realize what they are doing
 
May each and every one of you find a few quiet moments in your busy day to reflect on your blessings.  I pray they are many.  May joyful laughter fill your home, may peace and tranquility fill your heart, and may love flow over, around, and through your life, soaking into ever nook and cranny.  May your friends be true, your friendships long.  May your realize your potential.  May you be not simply blessed, but may you be a blessing to others.
 
Thanks again to each of you who has contributed in some way to my own developement and enjoyment this year.

But I also have and do much that others only dream of having and doing. I know that. And I have the space to look outside and consider.

I am thankful for the day (even if it did snow brrrrr) I thank God he let me have some fingers and a mind to appreciate them, I am thankful for the people here, my sister who never gives up on me, my other sister who doesn't contact me, and my kids who forgot I am alive, but with all that, I love life and the magic that everyday is wonderful if I choose to look at it that way. I am thankful for my horses, my cat who thinks it's a dog, my dogs who didn't poodle on the floor while we were gone for hours and hours enjoying my husbands family. I am thankful for them and the love they have shown me throughout the years, and most of all I am thankful for my FC who is the most wonderful loving man and complete person I know.

I wish ya'll a very happy Thanksgiving and may all your days find the same magic mine has.
