~FR~ Maah is correct in that some NDE accounts have had information in them, that the person should not have. This has been from as minor as seeing what other medical personel are doing in an adjacent room, behind closed doors, to knowing who is the the waiting room. Many of the accounts mirror accounts of other type of out of body experiences, such as Astral Projection and remote seeing. Many scoff at these things, but if you research them you will find some of the same facts, where people "see" things very distant to them, that logically they should not see. Many intelligence agencies around the world have funded and have/had departments of remote seers, with test that have shown they have some type of intuitive talent. Now with all of this said, it is very likely that with NDE, that some patients actually have the area of the brain triggered that is the same with instances of remote viewing or projection. It is very difficult to scientifically record or test this. Things should not be discounted, just because science cannot record it though, it may be that science has just not caught up enough to do so. At one time there was not enough science to prove the Earth was round, but some believed that. I would also mention that the "visions" from NDE can also be just hallucinations, created by the subconscious mind, in a similar fashion to dreams. So we could have two different types of phenomina occuring during NDE. This will add to the inability to confirm one way or the other. In the end though, it comes down to belief. It may not be something that can be proven, but to those it occurs to, it is fact. Kind of like trying to prove love to someone that has never felt it. Live well, Orion
