Very informative, lusciouslips. Something which hasn't been mentioned yet is that pain, of course, is not, necessarily, scene related so while communicating during a session (either verbally, via body language etc.) is important, communicating any pain prior to a scene is also important which just makes this post, in my mind, much more valuable. As someone who lives with my Master, letting him know what's going on with my state of health is imperative since he may do whatever, whenever at his whim. How he utilizes that information is up to him but I am required to give it to him. I would think, even for those who don't live with their dominants, imparting that information would be equally useful, especially if the dominant has you serve him from a distance and can't read your body language etc. in a given moment. Good post, lusciouslips. Thanks! Celeste
