No particulars on the location, as South Carolina wasn't an option.
That's the only place "over there" that I have other business at the moment.
I can't presently commit to anything, as it will be a while before my situation allows it.

I would be very interested in a Gor Gathering.  I do think there should be monitoring of who attends.  I also participate in Renaissance Faires and many of Us are tired of the "WarCraft" groups coming in.  Ninja in jeans and sneakers.  I do play the game, many of Us do, but there are conventions and such for The World of War Craft.  Renaissance Faires are historical reenactments not games.

I'd love to attend, life permitting.  I'm a mom and self employed, so the devil is always in the details. 
 
Personally, I don't see the need for screening of attendees.  At least, not this first time.  Obviously, if someone behaves like a completely borish ass, they should be invited to not attend next time around.  IMO, a bit of diversity is desirable at a gathering.  If we determine to behave like grownups, there should be few issues of substance.
 
I do recommend that proper signage be utilized.  Things such as "No tarn raids between the hours of  X and Y", "Pissing contests prohibited", and "Courtesy reflects more stongly upon he who gives it, than he who receives it".
 
There is, in fact, a lot to be said for gatherings where there is a large number of real Men.  Ah....the smell of testosterone in the morning....

Status: offline 		 It would be most interesting. Naturally, I'd like to see it held in Texas, but depending upon the circumstances, I might be able to travel a reasonable distance (say no more than a days drive from N.Texas)

(Edited to add, for some reason My location is still showing as Shreveport, I've relocated to Dallas, and My profile reflects that, so not sure why it still shows Me as being in LA here)

   I voted yes, on the East Coast.
Obvious reasons....lol...more specific though is I would really love for it to be in Massachusetts, around my area...as i stated before. I know a Hall I could get for cheap if not free, I could get it for 1 night or 3 nights...Friday,Saturday and sunday, if need be. Also I would be able to help set it up with vendors and the hall would be a perfect place for speakers and such. There is also a few nice choices for Hotels near by the Hall as well...actually the Hall is a Rod and Gun club in which members of my family are members of.I held my wedding and reception there back in 95...lol Food and drink would be no trouble for me to set up as well...not to mention it is a full bar as well...anyways, if you like, contact me via CMail, if you would like to know more detail.

i voted yes Chicago, i have friends over there that i might stay whit. But as plane tickets for Master and me to USA would cost around 18 000 dollars and in edition to that comes food and pocket money, getting the needed shots, visum costs and all other such costs it is unlikely we would make it there as we would have to prioritize that that that kind of money would pay down on loans, buy household appliances that we really need or other needful things and while meeting all you pepole would be wonderful, and it is a definite i would like to go, it is unlikely we can afford it anytime soon.
