Being in a poly relationship takes work. We've all said that. What's wonderful is when it all comes together and makes everyone better for it.

I have a good friend who is poly. Their is the husband, the wife (legal), the 2nd wife, and the girlfriend. They make it work through lots and lots of communication. They have their issues just like anyone else in any kind of relationship but if they maintain the open communication then there is not a problem.

Personally, I am in a poly relationship and I very much enjoy the dynamic that we've created. There are 5 people within it...not all are sexual with one another, and we're all good friends with each other.

The building block of any relationship at all times, whether it be mono, poly, vanilla, alt, green, blue, purple, chartruse, red, pink, is communication, commnunication, communication.
