does anyone have any quotes about a She-urt and why she can remain free? someone asked me and I cant remember the answer off-hand

it took approximately the time to type in Define she-urt in google for a listing of quotes, knowledge, book references, and sadly the protocol of how she-urts should be addressed in a chat room forum..*sighs*...

Next question will probably be what is the right temperature boiling point for paga????

I do not understand why melanie would sigh towards his question but then provide a link. It seems like her comments defeat the purpose of being helpful.

wasn't sighing at the question, sighing at the fact that all too many times when one goes to look up information on a Gorean context, all one would find is the "fantasy" aspect of it. There is actually a bunch of sites on the proper address to a She-Urt in a chat room, and how slaves should respond to She-Urts and what they can and can not wear.....its sad how many sites are dedicated to the rpg aspect of it..
(then again usually there seems to be a trend of someone asking rpg type questions only)........

As far as giving a link, took just as much time to post it as it did to google it. It doesn't hurt, plus that is just one out of thousands...no one said he had to go to that particular site...maybe there is a better one..he is the one doing the leg work if he chooses to.....

In the books a she-urt was a woman who was homeless. They lived in the cities near areas like the dump and such. Since they did not belong to a caste or homestone they were rarely spoken to by the Free. One a few occusions they were rounded up and enslaved.
