Though we have not met, I wish to thank you for your service to our country.  I have no doubt that the personal expense of your service went beyond the great and obvious one of being apart from your girl for nearly two years.
 
Through her eyes I've come to see you an an interesting man, and one I'd be honored to meet someday.  Smilezz behavior in this forum, during your absence has, in my estimation, brought further honor to your name and home.  She has done you proud, Sir.
 
May your reunion be as sweet as the seperation was long.  May your mutual joy in homecoming be more than either of you can contain.  May the days ahead, of reaclimation to each other, be seamlessly smooth, and a peaceful balm.

Thank you for your service to our country, thank you for giving up your life as you knew it for an extended amount of time, thank you for putting yourself in harm's way - while we were all safe here in our homes.

I am the only girl in a family full of strong males all of whom are in the service or were at some point in their lives. This includes my three brothers who have all been to Iraq. My brother Eric has been twice. I am aware of the sacrifices that come along with this type of service. I hope you will allow me to say thank you and to welcome you home.
