Reading the thread by waterdance and some of the comments started this damned fool question banging about in my head whilst I was doing evil things to the computer all blessed night.. So rather than hijack the thread I decided to pose this question to each and every one of you. Its whimsical if you will but its meant to be a bit of fun without people getting their knickers in a twist….

Firstly, let us surmise that Gor does exist and the books are true. I know it’s a quantum leap for some of you but stay with me for a moment. Now I pose this question:

1. What would be the likely reaction a group of Goreans (representing all the Casts and Cultures of Gor) if they were suddenly stranded here on earth?

2. Do you think they would survive?

3. Would they perish?

4. Would they adapt?

Ok peoples, the ball/s is/are in your court and lets see what happens when you run with it/them. I’ll add my copper task’s worth after I’ve had a shower, shave, and had a sleep.

i would imagine there be a bit of problems, but it would ofcourse depend on who got stuck and what they knew of Earth. For example, can you think of a Gorean man being forced to work under a woman boss, a woman that did not think he was all that becouse he just happend to have a penis, for on Gor, even free women respect men grately and their word is law.

Then think aboute your Grandparents and how dificult they ahve had whit adapting to everything new in sosiety, then think aboute a person from a sosiety that is on Iron Age level in thecnology. Other disaters wold be, think if the police found whit them one of the women they had kidnapped, and sendt her to a psycologist to de program the brain washing, and she told them everything, and they proved it. And what if one of the Goreans got hurt and was taken to the doctors and the doctors found how strange their blood was, how healty they was and that they are uaging.

Basicaly i belive they ahve a chance to survive, but they would ahve some problems that is for sure.

Well now IronBear,
a tasket a tarsket I lost a bloody barsket...

Well to one, the book tarnsman of gor by example the goreans came to earth to pick up the girl and I think some other books, they seemed rather standoffish or whatever........but unremarkable in other respects, so I think they would have a reserved reaction, somewhat like you guys when you come on CM, and people tell you this is pure asswipe and so on. For the most part you deal with it in rather exemplary fashion and seem to assimilate well.

two, yes see one.

three, no see two.
four yes and we are seeing it as we speak.

The Builders would do fine, designing and building tall round buildings for rich people.

Physicians and Scribes would combine forces, the Physicians doing the healing and the Scribes filling out the MediCare forms. Scribes would supplement their income writing a series of novels about a society where men and women are equal, and the dollar sets your limits.

Warriors would move to Hollywood and star in fantasy sword slinging movies and sitcoms. The best actor among them would become Governor of California.

Initiates would pass out literature in airports.

Perhaps New York is renamed Ar and Las Vagas is renamed KoRaBa ... Please no renaming United Airways and calling it United Tarn Flights.. that would be too much.

The Assassins of course join the CIA, FBI and DEA.

Ofcourse then you can also have this situation. A girl kidnapped from earth returned to earth after fifty years, still looking as young as the day she left, viviting her aging parents.

Hi Mom and Dad, guess what I was kidnapped to another planet as a sex slave, and guess what else, I took some wammy and now I dont age, but now I am baaack.
