Wow. This is a first for me. I've had plenty of spam from fictitious senders like Andreas Pincushion and Farnsley Egregious, but I have never received spam sent to my Yahoo address FROM my yahoo account. I am such a nuisance. Z. PS: Buy my stuff or suffer the consequences!

That's kind of what I'd like to know - since I am certain I didn't send it. Unless I am a sleep-spammer. Anyone else had this new annoyance? Z.

uh oh... It sounds like one of those programs that sends something to everyone in your address book, and then to everyone in the other peoples' address book, etc. I'd do a clean sweep of my computer were I you.

If he looks at the headers of that spam it's almost certainly coming from somewhere than Yahoo. ~stef

It's called "spoofing." http://www.windowsecurity.com/articles/Email-Spoofing.html Probably not a huge issue, just an irritating one.

Yeah, I'm clean. And no one else on my list got hit. Porn? I don't use my main yahoo addy for porn. I have special slutting addresses for that, precisely to keep the spam at bay. Thanks for everyone's help. Z.
