I have a question, i am slave to my Master Hal and i want to be a gorean slave for him even though He isn't a gorean Master but i want to add it slowly into my daily life how can i achieve this i know i want to get some Gor books by John Norman i have told my Master that is what i want for my birhtday but if you know of any links or advice that will help me it would be very much apprciated Thank you so much

Status: offline 		Well if he is not into Gorean lifestyle, he might not apriciate a Gorean slave. That in itself creates a pradox, if you try to be more Gorean and he dont apriciate it, then you are not realy acting Gorean at all as the point would be to pleese him.

It's a fine thing that you want to be a good slave for your master, but what makes you think he wants a Gorean slave if he doesn't consider himself Gorean? I suspect that you have some thoughts about how Gorean girls are different from you, and you are probably right, but they didn't get that way because of something they read on a website or even in the Gor books. They got that way because they are under the discipline and control of Gorean men. They become as their Gorean masters would have them be.

Edana was in my collar for months before she started reading the books. Now when she reads them, she recognizes herself in them. If you were to read them, you might recognize something that you'd like to be, but you won't get that way by reading the books. You'll only get that way if that is what your master expects of you, and his dominance over you is sufficiently strong to bring about those changes. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but do-it-yourself slavery doesn't really work. You have to be enslaved by a man. If you want to be a Gorean slave, it's essential that the man enslaving you be a Gorean man. His expectations, and his will to see them met is what will shape you. If you are in the collar of a Gorean man, reading might help you better understand what he expects of you, but that's about it.

If for whatever reason you think you want to be a Gorean girl, the better move would be to beg your master to start reading the Gor books, or even better, that you and he read them together. It would also be good for the both of you to seek out the company of other Goreans. One last bit of advice: Stay away from the websites. Most of them are written by role-players for role-players, and will give you an impression about Goreans that is either distorted or innacurate, or both. I know it's a pain to get ahold of the books, but it's more than worthwhile if you are serious.

Status: offline 		It is not so dificult to get hold of the books, several Gorean sites sell them second hand and they are easaly attainable through ebay and you can even get them in normal second hand stores somtimes or set up an add in an place that sell second hand books or even at a fantasy literature site where pepole buy and sell books, not hard at all.

Status: offline 		Gorean slaves are trained in different areas in order to become more pleasing and increase their value to their Owner. So each Master will set out a course of training for the girl. There is no point in training a girl to be a wizard at Italian cooking if the Owner loves Chinese food. I would start by asking the Owner if there are any skills you could learn that would please him. Typical ones that girls learn are cooking, household management, conversational skills, massage and dance.

You will read alot online about the Gorean slave positions. They are a wonderful tool to learn to hold yourself gracefully and beautifully and be pleasing to they eye of the Owner. It is good to practice them in front of a mirror.

Status: offline 		First up finding book.... I have a standard "Hold" order with several second hand book shops for a number of publications including the Gor series. Secondly, try doing an e-bay search. many times I've seen Gor books advertised and occasionally people will advertise the complete set. (Mind you I have found that collecting several complete sets in good condition will make you a handsom profit to.)

If you and you Master wish to add trappings to your slavery, I personally like the slave positions (which are mostly the result of role players spicing up their role play and not reproducing the books. E.g. a 10 to 20 post serve is glorious to watch in role play or even in real life under some conditions, however read the serves in a Paga Tavern in the books and the trik is running flat out to get your paga and food as fast as she can and then off to another table, unless you pay for the paga, food and an hour with the trik). I use some aspects of role play serves as well as things I found in books to develope the way I desire a trik to serve me. I have a service for at home or at a Gorean gathering (modified if its outside) and something slightly modified when out in the general public. All such things you are thinking of adding must be approved by your Master, but if you explain your thoughts, he may well wish to follow this through.

what is long and drawn out for descriptive purposes doesnt apply as its all visual and takes about 2 when done for real if that

Status: offline 		Well yes obiously Falonthas and what i said was setting it on the edge, it just seam so mutch more practical for me in the dayly life to just get the coffy, not tipptoing elegantly, half dancing over the floor, making sure to show of body and wawe my hair, open the dishwasher, polish the cup, pour coffe whit more tiptoding, body showing and dancing and then timtoing back, crawling on the floor to my Master whit a clattering coffe cup on a plate and risk spilling coffe all over me, or him, thou somthing like that might be nice now and then, it seam to clubersome in everyday life to me, that do not mean i dont think pepole should do it if they find they like it, hell there is alot of things pepole do that i dont like. And should my Dom have a Gorean visitor that requierd it i would tiptoe around to, sure no problem.

first let girl say...she admires your great interest in Gorean life. It's a Most Beautiful Lifestlye. As Master Leonidas spoke on...girl fully agrees with His words. for a girl to have a Master is Wonderful...but He too must have a Need to be Gorean to Properly Guide you along in the teachings. Gor can be Harsh....True...But Gor is Gor....and girl Wishes you the best of luck for the Both of you. I saw in the chats a copy of a Bazi Tea Serve which was wrong for someone had based it on the Japanese tea serve. I simply drafted out a serve based on the formal Bedouin and the Turkish coffee serves I had been taught by folks from the Middle East. It was tried out in private chat format for practicability, and found it to be 32 posts long. However in reality, besides the actual making of the tea (I prefer the Japanese tea for formal occasions), the serve is quite quick with the longest part being the slave kneeling beside me so I may feed her sweet meats (Love the Lebanese goodies) with my own hand. It is a pretty service, which I wouldn’t use more than once a day if that. It is something of a sharing and an intimacy too. I’m currently working on several serves with alternates for use in public. However this is my liking for ritual coming to the for and would probably give many other Lifestylers a good dose of the shits…..

I never said I was perfect just trying to perfect some things in my life to my satisfaction.

Status: offline 		Sounds quite lovely, and Japaneese tea sermonies are so butiful and spiritual, i think sermonies like this can be a good adition to any D/s relationship, or modified to a vanilla one, what i only comented is that is every cop of tea, wather, coffe or wahtever she slave is getting her Master through the day, every day that might be a bit unpractical. It is the same that usualy i use then minutes on the bathrrom on the morning, a quik wash, hair combed, into clothes on whit a few ornaments, but on special ocations i might wash whit special shope, don my lovlist black dress, take time to select the right jewlerry paint my lips black and little shirls under my eyes and take time on my hair and i feel grate, it is jsut unpractical to use an houer or two on the bathroom every day.
