How many subs/slaves here make the sacrifice to live without the man who can truly master them? Why do we make these sacrifices and is it worth it in the end? What about if you are not someone who needs this 24/7...does that ultimately make it easier to cope? How do you cope?

i had a sister sub and we lived together with my Master... was the best time ever! But my sis decided that she wanted to have her space away - relationship with her became distanced... she got accustomed to being without us - relationship fell apart. Sucked bad. To this day I don't know why she did it - when our Master was the best for her and she knew it herself.

We do what we need to do for ourselves to be ultimately fulfilled in who we are and who we will become.

If we choose to do things that will not allow our ultimate fulfillment, that is our choice.

I think "sacrifices" which cause an individual to live an unfufilled life in an unsatisfactory relationship aren't really healthy ones.

I can see choosing not to be with someone to whom one feels close. For example, were one to become invovled witha married person who would not leave his spouse, one might have to make the choice to be without that person.

However, if there is nothing that is baring the way, and one chooses to be unhappy, I think there's a problem. If there's something barring te way, then I think one needs to rethink the relationship and whether or not surmounting the difficulties is doable and worthwhile.
