Please believe that more than a few of us know what you are going through. Before Master entered my life it was often a choice between my insulin and medications and my ex2be's alcohol and smokes. I often lost and scrambled to pay for food and mortgage and catch up[ on bills he was making right and left. Depression was a constant companion. Do not let friends blow you off if you need to talk, and know that I am several others are her e with some broad shoulders.

Contact your local Public Health agency and see about seeing a counselor. Most of the Public Mental health clinics will work on a sliding scale or nothing if you can't afford it. They can and will also give you samples, or low cost medication if it is needed. Please do not let pride or ennui stop you from seeking help.

Contact your local church group, United way and ask about help with your bills. Believe it or not they can help and in this economy, they are girding their loins to help people and getting all the ducks in a row for the coming months. United Way has in the past led me to help with everything from rent to my utility bills and they are everywhere.

You're a good egg, sweetie.  Sometimes people find themselves in circumstances that we didn't expect.  We all learn to adapt.  Sometimes just for the sake of getting by, sometimes because it's what is necessary to live.
