Sometimes it's frustrating as hell to have a Thing with a mood disorder. While I am able to understand him more than anyone else in the world, I also get the biggest backlash when he's off his game. He told me tonight that sometimes he gets so angry that he just takes it out on us at home.

that entire post is heart wrenching but heres the thing Red... just like always your focusing on the wrong part of the post... let Uncle Darias help *he "gets it."* .. yes its heartbreaking and fristrating to watch him suffer through moods he cant control... and see how it upsets the rest of the family... but the Thing is learning Darlin... which means he`s gonna get better .. and the heart ache will be fewer and farther between as he learns control etc

just keep doing what your doing no matter how hard or useless it seems. he`ll get through this and so will you. and he`ll be stronger for it and you prouder

Talk about perverted reality. I told my ex and the counselors that Thing 1 goes off on me because I'm his safe person. He knows that I'm not going anywhere, even when I want to pack up and leave the whole lot of them. *sigh*

I hope that one day Thing 1 will come to understand why I do what I do. There are times when he is a jerk because he's an adolescent boy. Then there are the times when he's a person whose brain is marinating in the wrong combination of chemicals, and he yells and screams, then holds onto me crying, asking me to make this awful ride into hell stop. If he had another mommy, she might not understand him the way I do.

Damn Darius...i hate when people are able to throw me off gaurd. WTF!!?? In all sincerity i actually believe this on some level. Despite in the end it became my demise, my personal experience with alcohol is it's the only thing that kept me alive and {somewhat} sane for too many years.

god invented alchol as a safety net to keep the irish from conquering the world while ya`ll were being hit over the head with clubs and dragged into caves... as long as we drink the world is safe... soon as someone convinces us alcohol is bad you lot are screwed cause within years we`ll have conquered you all taken away the need for doctors politicians police firemen strippers and donut factorys... and the you lot are gonna be sooooooooooooooo boredddddddddd
