Raising them is not the problem. It is taking them to all of their functions that is wearing.

my guess is it is also a challenge not to strangle them when they go through the "smart-ass" stage....

i hate it when a good metal show goes horribly bad at the end - beer, rival biker gangs and moshing does not mix.

To All that have inquired about my FF friend who was injured earlier this month, I just rec'd this email below. If you'd like to view this brave man, please visit www.rvfd.org

Firefighter Joel R. continues to recover from his burns at the Washington Hospital Center Burn Unit. Although Joel has seen significant improvement in his condition and most of his grafts are healing well, there is approximately a 20% area that will need to be re-grafted. As of today, Joel is scheduled to return to the operating room on Thursday, October 23rd for his fourth surgery. The burn center surgeons will debride the skin grafts that did not take, primarily on the back of both legs and the front of his right leg, and then re-graft those areas. Due to Joel’s upcoming surgery, he has requested no visitors on both Thursday, October 23rd and Friday, October 24th. It is now expected that Joel will remaining in the burn unit until mid-November.

Thanks, Clumsy. The Volunteers are all providing meals for Joel & his family. I'm scheduled to deliver lunch on Nov. 2. They really will NEED prayers if they eat my homecooked meal!!!

I hate that I need new glasses because it is so hard for me to choose when I'm wearing fake lenses and I can't see how they look on me.

I'm also hating that my parents are angry that I'm not working but they tune out when I explain that I can't even get through the grocery store if it takes over 15 minutes. Nothing like being called a sloth to start the day out right!!

oh gawd, sambas.. I've worked shows like that.. there was one where the band I was working at actually had to duck flying beer bottles as we packed up to get the hell outta dodge... 2 months later we were STILL finding broken bottle shards in the road cases...
