I Love that I just finished reading The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman and recommend both versions the Men's and Women's. Both are excellent suggestions for keeping love in a relationship and speaking the other persons Love Language, what fills their Well and keeps them happier. He's not talking about NRE (New Relationship Euphoria) or being IN Love (what happens when we first start to love) but how to keep that Love alive through the years and give the other person what they need to feel love and vice versa. I highly recommend reading at least one of the books and identifying your partners needs and your own..then trying it. BP and I have been doing instinctively what each of us needs...but it is hard to maintain sometimes through the years..and I was able to recognize where my Ex and I Stopped speaking the others language of love and grew apart. T'aint letting it happen this time.

I love it that my Step dad (Whom I live with) called me on his lunch break to say "I was talking to your mom this morning, and she told me that she needed to talk to the asshole that you call a stepdad because you are too afraid to ask him if Chuck can stay over with you Christmas Eve" And I said "Yeah... The last time I asked, you jumped down my throat telling me that your house wasn't a flop house and that you weren't going to have him staying at your house all the time!" He told me "Well, I don't mind at all. I like him a HELL of a lot more than the last one. And I just didn't want it to be one of those every other day kind of things. But I don't mind if he stays here for Christmas"

YAY!!! I really DO get to wake up in the arms of the man of my dreams for Christmas!!!! I even got all teary eyed after we hung up! (Go figure. I cry over everything.)

I love it that today Sir and I went out and did our Christmas shopping. He got me a huge soft cushy blanket to wrap myself in when we're apart and the most beautiful pair of diamond earrings! I am so fortunate to have such a giving man in my life.

Hello People!

I had the most lovely night! Master and Mistress went out to do what ever M&Ms do, and I spent the time putting together a den-esque space for them! They use Master's woodshop as the smoking area and it just looked sad (to me). So as their gift, I put a little rug down, some lanterns with candles, some decorations, and little end tables for them. They are having folks over together in a couple of days, so now they will have a fun space for people to chat over their smoke time.

I feel so good! They were really surprised and happy.

Doesn't it feel great to surprise people with something they will actually enjoy?!

Sunshinemiss is sucking up to apparently the commercial version of the chocolatey delicious M&M brand candies again, thus distracting them from their annual holiday commercial acting gigs...i believe this puts them in violation of their contractual agreement with Hershey and will render them homeless and penniless and with no one to love them....Please send her coal in her stocking so that i might take said stocking and beat her about the head and shoulders with its weighted justice...
