ORIGINAL: LinnaeaBorealis Ok, well maybe not so skeery, per se. More ummmmmm.....persuasive & so hard to turn down. Yeah, that's it!!!!! & cute!! Gotta remember the cuteness factor. I love it when Linea uses legal lingo. It's hawt. *giggles* Last year, Thing 2 was in the school clinic and the nurse called saying she was sick and wanted me to talk to her to see how bad it really was. Thing 2 gets on the phone and says, "Well, Mommy, I'm not really sick per se, it's just that I'm not feeling well." All I could do was ask how the hell old she really was, while listening to the nurse laugh and snort in the background. I love it when I have spent countless hours working on my home, getting tons of things done to make it less cluttered, more livable, and nicer to be in the past several days. It makes me so happy and proud to walk through my space and know that I have made huge strides in this small (yet monumental to me) beautification project. I love that the Things and my dad look really pleased to see things so orderly and so much junk out of here. (just one more room really, and then I'll feel like I can relax and just marvel at my handiwork - and yes, that's a brag... I've earned it, on this I am certain) I love that I was able to find a stopping point this evening and go to the movies with the Things and just spend some nice time with them. I love that my plant that everhope sent to me for Christmas is blooming. I love that I found a treasure that belonged to my grandfather (who I never met because he died when my mom was 12). It was his "Soldier's Payment Book" from the Army in WWI in my grandmother's family Bible that I didn't even know I had here in my place. What a find... I love that my dad found his discharge papers from the Army in WWII and various report cards from the first and second grades from back in the 1930's in a box that I set aside for him to go through. I love it when DB tells me that He wants to buy me a football jersey for a player that shares His surname so I can get used to having it "attached" to me. *giggles* (Now, when or if this ever happens, be sure that I might very well get the vapors and fall out cold.) I love that I got Thing 2's hamster a new aquarium type cage because he kept throwing the bedding out of the wire one and I was tired of vacuuming it. However, he is so dumb that he kept knocking the water bottle off, so I had to secure it with 3 piggytail holders. I love it that my sister came to visit, saw the "Republicans for Obama" poster that we hung up in October, and managed to keep her mouth shut. (I love it more because I know that she was probably just dying to say something, but didn't dare because my dad would've gotten on her. *giggles*) I love it that I'm putting the new bed linen set on my bed tomorrow. I also love that I am going to put my new pots and pans set in the kitchen and use them.
