I love all the happy stuff. I'm esp. happy for Kyttyn and Gwyn. Ladies, that's just some awesome news!!!

I love that work this week has improved tremendously since Monday. I had a brief talk with my boss on Tuesday, explained to her that I had done all of my work before I went on vacation at Christmas, minus opening the new cases (about 60). I also had 10 days of backed up work on top of my current work, and the piles of stuff wasn't from me goofing off, but just a natural occurence from taking holiday time. She seemed to calm down, and looked a little ashamed. I've known her for 27 years, and her email seemed like a rant on a stranger, not on a gal she's know for 75% of her life. She will never apologize, but she did tell me that she wants to see how things go this month in case she needs to hire someone else to take on the overflow from our intern leaving, and having that part of the practice's work all land on me.

She told me that she needs to know if things get overwhelming or overloaded for me. I told her to just believe in what I know I can do, and what I know I can't do, and that I promise to keep her in the loop. She thanked me and smiled when she walked out of my office.

I love it when the office manager looks at all the stuff I've gotten done this week and is "stunned."

I also love it when I make a few suggestions about the software we use in our practice and she writes them down, tells our boss, and they think they are good ideas. (Now we just wait till our software guy comes in to make the changes.)

i love it when i go into work having put my "armour" on (ya know...lots of reading, centering, praying, meditating) and i do supervision with the 'scary employee' and she just about loses it. i love that i was strong, assertive, and direct..... i love even more that when she was trying her best to engage me in a power struggle i just didn't engage and she grew even more out of control...... i love it that when she left my office i closed my office door and called my supervisor... i love even more that my supervisor told me how proud she was of how i handled the situation and that i had grown!!!!!!
YEAH ME!!!!!!!!!!

*now to decide if it's time to write her up*

I love it that things are starting to come together..

I love it that I have found an organization interested in bringing the theatre to Poland for a tour to raise money for a Polish charity dealing with social exclusion and that there is a significant chance of achieving some sort of change for the homeless and LGBT community.

I love it that I have got the US Consulate to concede even further making an artistic visa more likely.

I love it that we can realistically consider coming to North America this year.

I love it that I am now working on three plays and that 'Switch' is coming back in the Spring. I love the fact that I have more Australians in the theatre. Australians rock.

Most of all, I love watching Ala discovering London and finding her happiness here. Today we sat in the kitchen and she picked up various food items and started to learn the English words for them.
