Wow! Five years old - haven't you gotten big! Your daddy declared you Mission Accomplished over four years ago but here you are, still growing strong. Eating lots of soldiers are you? Five thousand? Gee. So many. What, more? A hundred thousand pavillions? Oh, civilians! Silly me. And a trillion dollars? No. You are making that up, I bet there's no such number. You're so funny.
I know Daddy predicted you would not last a year but you showed him and now he's so proud of you. He called you a VICTORY, and that's really special because usually they only call you a victory when the other guys have stopped fighting - so you can see how much you mean to Daddy, and Daddy's friends.
Of course we love you. Who said that? Well just you don't pay those ragheads and commies and liberal traitors any heed. Freedom's too good for them.
So Happy Fifth Birthday, Operation Iraqi Freedom. And here's to many more.
