Which statements are you taking offense to here, IronBear? I mentioned Gorean RPG players simply because there are some. My slave is an RPG player too, but she doesn't play Gor, she plays Everquest. Same same. She knows all the legends surrounding Everquest (and don't ask her, because she'll tell you about it if you do, and then you'll be sorry) just like someone who plays "Gor" and is really good at it knows the books really well. Years ago, I used to post some on a forum like this that was run by AOLers who role-played Gor. I answered some questions for them about the books, since many of them didn't have them. I knew they were "players". They knew they were "players". They knew I wasn't a "player" but I had information that they wanted, and I posted there because it made me cringe to see some of the things that they were discussing that were completely out of the character of the books. They talked about playing, and going 'out of character', and their "mundane" (meaning their real persona, not their character). So, if you think I'm using "player" in a perjorative sense, I think we're not understanding each other. A player is a player. They play "Gor" like a game. Many of them actually look down on people who try to live as Goreans. They think it's unrealistic, dangerous, immoral, or all three. Well, I think that the pot has been sufficiently stirred for a while (at least as far as my participation in stirring the pot will go). I've been posting here for almost two years, IronBear. Long before this section opened. I'm always the same. Where I have strong opinions about things, I state them plainly. That isn't likely to change. I hope that my participation (or anyone else's) doesn't chase you or your friends away.
