One thing I cant abide by, no matter who you are. If you are asking for money, peddling something, or begging on the side of the road, and you are Puffin your way to the grave (yeah I smoke too). I wont be stopping by to give you a dime.

Why should I give you money, that you will spend buying cigarettes.

It is a common joke in this house that this girl will give money to anyone...lol. If they look like they need it i would give somoene the proverbial shirt off my back. i have even went so far when i had no cash as to run home, make sandwiches etc and returned to give to the person.
The hardest for this girl is the vets. Especially around the mission in Seattle, so many homeless Vietnam Vets...so many who did so much asking for so little...and it is very difficult to stomach. People walking past, making rude comments...get a job...as if it were so easy with no address, or with a prosthesis or the mental health issues that plague many vets.
