I would also like to add, that CM wishes everyone to express opinion and thought. It is one thing to ask a question and seek an answer and another to ask only to badger. If you are not understanding the answers you are getting then maybe you should seek a different source. To ask over and over for someone to explain is redundant, and gives the impression of baiting. CM was founded on the principle's of education and discussion, a place for others to share their thoughts and feelings in regard to the life they so choose to lead. The personals is a way to let others find those with similar interest's. If you are going to participate in the Gor forums I ask that you do so in the manner they were provided for. Either to educate yourself or others in regard to the Gorean ways, or as an active participant in Gor. Any and all attempts to bait, flame, bash or bend the guidelines or TOS will not be tolerated, seeking education is one thing, entertainment is another. Mod3

what should one do when they are enjoying the forums, but have someone who is following them around, harassing them on every forum they go to. this girl made some (truthful) statements about herself,('a bonding issue" in ask a Master") and now has 2 (KnightofMists and matbemaybenot) that have followed her out of "ask a Master' to "health and safety" calling her a liar and generally makeing it difficult to be on here? this girl does not wish to leave collarme, but will not stay where she is constantly attacked. just because KoM and mbmbn have not heard of or seen what this girl is talking about, does not mean that she is lying. this girl would be grateful for any assistance and advice You could impart, even if it is "go away".

MLsKajira, This is a general comment to people who feel they are being attacked. It is not a validation of your belief that you are being unfairly attacked. I have not followed in detail the notestreams you refer to, but in the posts I've seen, you've done yourself more injury than anyone else on the boards has done to you. That said. I've had my share of disadmirers including one asshole who constantly accused me of child molestation. I've found the best response is no response. CollarMe has a block option. It's not the best, you can still see when someone makes a post instead of having even the headers vanish, but it does its job. Block 'em and don't open the messages even when tempted. This does two things. You don't end up making stupid statements that later come back to haunt you and it often drives the attackers into such a virtual frenzy that they overstep reason and sink themselves. To others: Block isn't a bad idea also if you find some poster or posters so incredibly stupid or aggrevating in some other way. If you're tempted to fire off an "idiot gram" every time they set fingers to keyboard, block can have a calming effect on your blood pressure and keep you from coming off as a total bad guy in the forums.

this girl has blocked. maybe she is slow, but all she has tried to do is defend herself, she doesnt see where she has done herself more harm than anyone else. what this girl has stated about herself was stated because she was asked, and what she stated was the TRUTH. if others dont believe her, that is most definately their right, but to follow someone all over the boards, harping on it is harassing. this girl doesnt see what they are saying, she has them blocked, but others do. this girl is getting tired of fighting against ignorance and constantly repeating herself. she knows she is a peon and losing her on collarme would not diminish this site one whit. but, is that the way the moderators wish to treat their public?

There is a link in the bottom right of your message window called "Report". This is to be used when you are attacked or "bashed". Try using that and let the moderators, who may be unaware, handle the situation. Also use block. Hephaestus Chambre du Loup de Montagne

Pardon my interuption. As I am the one being referenced as bashing.baiting and flaming I would like to say something in my defense. < not by the mods, to my knowledge > And then I shall let it lie. I did not call the OP a liar. Anyone can go over and read my posts and decide for themselves. I also e mailed the OP, explaining that I was not calling her a liar, nor was I trying to be mean or hurtful. I explained that from a medical standpoint, I was intruiqued to understand this. I also told her she did not have to justify herself to me. In the threads referenced, I did not ask questions the OP, I gave examples of where there was conflicting information. < I did ask for the name of the periodical> The OP is the one who asked me questions and I responded. My intent was not to debate, or to harrass. Nor is that my intent here, I will leave this alone now. mbmbn

I think Mabe that this goes back to what we intimated in our recently misunderstood post or two as of late. Some people are far to fragile, and there ain't nothing to do about it. As most of you know if there was a war going on in the boards, I would snuggle up to it like a clean set of sheets. I am unaware of any such war. LOL, Ron

Just write to ModOne if you REALLY think you're being persecuted. Don't be so graceless as to name people in a public thread.
