A disability is only a disability when we allow it to become one...this is one of several blind children who use similar techniques to see...

Well, I'm happy to report that the surgery is over and my angel is now recovering and healing in her room at the hospital. It's going to takes months of rehab to get her make to normal functioning, but she's going to make it back fully.

I just want her to know how much I want her to stay alive and with me serving me perfectly as she always has. She a beautiful girl and no amount of body or limb removal is ever going to change that.

LL

by the way, her site is hosting an ongoing blog of her changes and journey.

Greetings, Master:
Greetings, Mistresses:
Greetings, slaves:

I have had chronic pain for about 10 years, though I only stopped working two years ago.  Up until sometime during the past year, none of the doctors I had seen knew what was wrong with my back and neck as all of the tests showed nothing was wrong.  Within the past year they have discovered that I have a bulging disk in my neck and one in my lower back.  The one in my neck causes major upper back and neck pain and sometimes a huge headache while the one in my lower back gives me a paralysis feeling and sometimes pain.  I am also recently diagnosed with bi-polar (which one I don't know).  I have been pending disability for two years because of the lack of diagnosis, but I am hoping to get it approved when I go to court in December.

I have always tried to not let my pain affect my slavery as I have wanted to be slave more than anything else.  After reading my trainers post, plus what I already knew, I am guessing I have picked the best Master I can to be slave to.

I do have one problem that I discovered recently in that I cannot do certain things without my back spasming, so I would greatly appreciate any advise people have on how to alleviate muscle spasms in your back when you wrists are tied to your ankles.  Master Malkinius did that to me and after a few minutes I started spasming.  It's the first time my disability every really created problems for what a Master wanted to do to me.

Thank you,

It is probably a conflict due to positioning causing stress on your disk(s).

Greetings Free
Greetings property

If you have a disability, depression, illness or even a fear or anxiety relating to the Gorean lifestyle, do you hide it from your peers? If so why, please? And if not why, please?

I would be grateful for any responses

Thank you,
~twinkle

I have had a habit in the past of hiding the amount of pain I am in.  I have kind of been told that I am not allowed to as that also goes with the fact I am not allowed to keep anything from my trainer.  While I am not quite living with him yet, I have mentioned that I may at times be overly stubborn at times, because I try hard not to let my disability (bi-polar and chronic pain) to get in my way of my service responsibilities.

I am not understanding this.  Can you elaborate for me please?

greetings twinkle....

In many cases, such as mine, I don't hide it, I just don't mention it as it is not important to what I say or much of what I do. I can't run a marathon but I can scuba dive. I no longer want to try skydiving but I have spent the last three decades putting a sword blade where I want it to go. Except for the swordwork, those things don't matter in teaching people what it means to live as a Gorean or even in training a slave. (I have yet to have a slave who wants to do any of those things.) It would simply be a distraction that I don't need.

The scuba diving might be interesting to try, Master.

The reverse goes for the slaves I have worked with as well. Almost all of them have had some sort of chronic physical problem and a few with some mental/psychological ones as well. Most of their problems have not affected their ability to train or serve as a slave very much. Where it does, I work around and with it.

I guess that's what makes you a good trainer for me, Master.

Among Goreans, there does seem to be a high percentage of people with some sort of physical problem. This is, from my experience, more common among the slaves than the free. There are also the problems that come with age. Many have not started down this path in their lives until after their families have grown and left the home.

I thought it was just me that noticed a high percentage of Goreans with disabilities.

I think part of my problem is that I have not had a trainer that understood what it was like to be disabled until now.  One even required me to ride my bike 2 miles every day, which just is not doable.  It seemed they go to the extreme one way or another, so I am glad that I have a trainer (and soon to be owner) that is understanding of the pain I may be in at any given time and will work with it.

"This silkie is new to collarme.com and her vt Master made her a profile to find an rt relationship for her.

Tis strange but she always had vanilla relationships, but she always sought men who were stronger then, she did not know the difference between being a bully and what she was truly looking for was a Gorean Master. Five years ago, she found Gor, and realized what she was..., and that is a kajira silkie.

Now, she has been with her vt Master'Curien", and spends some time with Him almost everyday. He knows the beast of His, has disabilities, mainly Lupus, Fibromyalgia, and arthritis, which all of them are autoimmune diseases, which are hereditary.

Now on-line she can be as she use to be and be able to do the positions and such…, as it is in her heart to do, but cannot do in rt.

Yet, she years to have Master in rt, as her vt Master also wishes that she be in an rt relationship. However, personally she has rather given up on having an rt Master…, because even Men who are vanilla shy away from a woman that has disabilities’.

However, this beast of her vt Master trusts Him, as she trusts Him explicitly to find the right relationship for her.

Will this happen…, it is in Gods hands, that the possibility of an rt Master is found for her.

She wishes in all of her heart to give and be with the one Master that loves her, and she would as in the books be His love-slave and be in deepest slavery in her heart to Him”.
