Knowing as much about anatomy and physiology as I do, I'd say the act is practically impossible for most human males. There's just no physical structure (muscles and other connective tissue) in the scrotum and testes with which to support the body's weight.

Edited to add: a successful individual doing this will not have just started ball play yesterday. If he's insane enough to try something like this, he'll have built up layers of toughened tissue within his scrotum through gradually increasing ball weights and stretching activities.

i'm an engineer by training, and my first thought is to build some type of weight bearing secondary support device (a harness of some type) so that all of the weight is not supported completely by the scrotum, but rather, the "balls" have mechanical help.

Not only would that be the best approach anatomically and from a physics standpoint, but it would also be the most conducive to long-term health.

(And i believe it goes without saying that the heavier the man, the more dangerous this becomes).

I'd soundproof your home before trying this. If the cops came through the door in answer to complaints about the noise and found you standing next to a bloke strung up by his bollocks . . . I seriously do think that would actually make headlines across the world.

Hi Folks,

I've been following all the comments with interest. As far as I am aware I'm not impotent in so far as the equipment is all working well and firing on all cylinders!

The thought of hanging by the balls with a mistress beside me and the cops arriving...hilarious :-)

By the way, I must have the lowest hangers in Belfast - when they'e relaxed they slap against my thighs.
