ORIGINAL: FrankAr Greetings phoenix, Do not let any barriers stop you in the goal of obtaining the books. As Camerius as said...amazon.com and amazon.com.uk can find them. I have found mine on ebay through the bank transfers and paypal, getting 23 of them, having to get Rogue and Magicians and Witness to finish the collection, and when it comes out the 27th. Although I tend to see the amazon books as being generic, I might have just clicked on the wrong area. For the books that I viewed all had the same generic cover but the wording was different. Just use your bank details, for nowadays the security on the main major sites are well protected by incriptions. Be well. Frank Ar. At the Chronicles of Gor site we try to make it as easy as we can to locate Gor books in whatever form is required. As well as a store powered by Amazon where you will find the new editions (which do all have generic covers, yes, due to budget constraints) we also have search boxes for AbeBooks (US and UK) and eBay that you can use to locate used copies of the original editions. We even have a page which lists the next 25 eBay items that relate to Gor. We also provide links to library services for those who would like to borrow the books, and of course we have links to Fictionwise, the eBook retailer. Please go to http://gorchronicles.com/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=51 to find out more. quote:
PS. Also on ebay some were selling all the 26 novels on a one disk. I do not know if they are a legal disk, you might have to ask the likes of Malkinius and Luther if they are, but they are just all novels on a cd and some were selling for about 150 aussie . Please be aware that it is illegal for anyone to offer the Gor books on CD, so if anyone sees these being advertised on eBay or anywhere else, please let me know and I'll put a stop to them. Usually these CDs contain the old pirated versions of the books, full of errors and with chunks missing, but even if they contained legally purchased ebooks they would still be illegal. Ebooks are not the same as printed books in that you cannot resell them, or give them away. They are always sold with a licence that specifically prohibits that. The only place where electronic versions of the books can be legitimately obtained is from properly authorised ebook retailers such as Fictionwise. If any are spotted anywhere else, I'd like to know, and you'll find the address for reporting these at the bottom of any page of the Chronicles of Gor site. Simon
