Greetings Masters, Mistresses and slaves.. While pondering a topic of the gorean persuasion that might avoid the my way/your way path...this one struck me as something not talked about too much, so perhaps it might do the job :) Provisions for property in the event of sudden and unexpected loss. Do others provide it for their slaves? Here, there is an insurance policy that will ease the financial end if Master leaves this world, (I won't go into the emotional aspect, another topic). So, I was wondering if other masters did the same, or something on the same lines...and..I would love to hear how others view this, if they agree or disagree. Many have their slaves working, so while she will be struggling with the emotional loss, her chances of finding a place to habitate are better then the "stay at home" slave. Knowing several in the latter category, (myself included for right now), we discussed this among ourselves and while unpleasant to think of...it's kinda important. Do slaves think of such things when begging the collar? How was the topic brought up if it was discussed? This is not to be confused with release, but I know a few women whose owners have set aside a sum of money just in case release happens,so the slave isn't homeless. I am speaking more along the lines of your owners demise, leaving you with not only emptiness, but needing to find a job, place to live, etc... Others thoughts? On a side note...Master JustATop...my owner has a specific motion...like sign language, that tells me to "zip it"...*grins*... I think it could be universal! Your words brought a chuckle to himself this morning when he read that someone else felt there "ought to be a way". Best of wishes to the free, extra hours in the day for the slaves.. lisa{Sea"s} *Masters sometimes chatty one*
