ORIGINAL: GreedyTop I wish I did, Holly... they were great. I think my aunt threw them away, along with all kinds of other stuff that my mom and I would have liked to have kept (christening gown, baby clothes, etc) My mother decided to clean out the attic one weekend after I'd left home for college......threw away my stuff from high school, and other things...but what reaalllly, reallllly hurt was that she threw out the following: Every vinyl record that Elvis ever made. Three vinyl Beatles records...mine! The issue of Time from RKF's funeral that had John saluting the casket as it rolled by. All of her cashmere sweaters...said she didn't wear them anymore.....there had to be about 50 perfectly good sweaters! And 3 original poodle skirts! Alot of the old country greats on vinyl, Connie Francis, Loretta Lynn, others loke those. Do you know what she could get for that "junk" today??????? I was really pissed that she didn't tell me she was going to go wild on the cleaning, I would have taken all that stuff outta there......Elvis wasn't dead yet, the Beatles were all alive, too. MOTHERS!!!!! (she did, however, give me my christening gown......)
